The hotel is in a perfect spot, right on the lake front near the ferry and boat docks and close to many restaurants and shops. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious, with a small balcony overlooking Lake Como. The service is polite but slightly indifferent, maybe due to a busy season. Dining offers a variety of breakfast options with a lovely view of the boats starting their day. The location is fantastic for exploring the Central Lake area by ferry.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious with huge terraces and a great view of Lake Como, although they felt a bit dated. My stay at Hotel Metropole Bellagio was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious and grand, lacked certain standard amenities like tea/coffee facilities and the housekeeping practices were not up to par. However, the private terrace was stunning. The service was lacking in friendliness and helpfulness, but it led us to discover a fantastic restaurant in the area. On the bright side, the location couldn't be better, right by the ferry drop off and with magnificent views. The dining experience was acceptable, though not exceptional.
